The Goddess Movement is proud to be accepting donations for Purple Lights Nights, and we will be collecting items here until November 7th. 💜

Intimate partner violence has no place in our community, yet many women and families across the Fraser Valley are still living with it.

Purple Lights Nights takes place each October in remembrance of those who have lost their lives, and to support everyone who is surviving or still living with abuse. Every item donated through this campaign goes to SARA for Women, where it helps provide everyday essentials to those who need them most.

Here is what you can bring:

🎁 Gift cards: Gift cards for grocery, gas, and dollar stores help families cover their daily needs.

🧼 Personal hygiene: New and unopened toothbrushes, toothpaste, tampons, pads, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream etc.

🧺 Cleaning supplies: Laundry detergent and dish soap help keep a home fresh, disinfectant wipes etc.

🧤 Winter and seasonal items: Winter clothing, gloves, toques, scarves, socks, slippers, umbrellas, etc.

🧸 Children and youth: New and unopened toys, sports items, headphones, hair and makeup products, blankets, colouring supplies, journals water bottles, etc.

👕 New clothing: Socks and underwear are needed for women as well as for children and youth.

🍼 For little ones: Diapers and baby formula

Each donation brings a little more comfort and security to someone who is starting over. Please bring your items to The Goddess Movement before November 7th, and wear purple to show that you stand with survivors.
