Glofox\u2019s website advertises their revenue-generating capabilities too. Their homepage advertises the software\u2019s potential to grow revenue by 89% or more.<\/p>\n
But here\u2019s the deal \u2013 while Glofox offers a ton of cool features, some customers have had their share of challenges. Technical hiccups and less-than-stellar customer service have cropped up as the main issues, and as described in some of the reviews below.<\/p>\n
Glofox prides itself on user-friendliness and seamless booking. However, <\/span>as per some reviews, members have <\/span>trouble booking classes through Glofox.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n One customer named Henry C. noted they were <\/span>\u201c<\/span>randomly not able to book members into classes<\/span><\/a>.\u201d He adds<\/span><\/a>, \u201dIf<\/span> you set a class size, some will randomly increase by one. <\/span>You <\/span>have to<\/span> have double logins for all your staff, trainers, and employees. In addition, <\/span>there\u2019s<\/span> no real reporting to see <\/span>what\u2019s<\/span> going on with your memberships<\/span>. Making a calendar is super glitchy and setting dates for starting a specific class <\/span>doesn\u2019t<\/span> do anything half the time.\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u200b <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n One customer, FitLearn.co.uk, also cited<\/span>\u200b <\/span><\/span>issues with Glofox\u2019s Stripe integration. <\/span>\u201c<\/span>We have spent the last three days unable to sign members up<\/span><\/a> and not take any money because of an ongoing problem with Stripe and Glofox,\u201d they explained. This user also had trouble getting customer support. \u201c<\/span>Can never get through to support,<\/span><\/a>\u201d they continued. \u201cWhen you call you just get voicemail.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As a business owner, onboarding support is essential. Your customer support team should also be available to answer questions on an ongoing basis.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Support is critical to a positive user experience. Going by the reviews, <\/span>some customers, like Courteney Lee, didn\u2019t receive much. \u201c<\/span>\u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span>\u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span>The customer service stopped as soon as the sign-up process was over<\/span><\/a>\u2026 it was impossible to get help if I needed it.\u201d Customer service only responded once this customer asked to cancel their account. \u201cThey hassled me to not cancel, acting as if they cared about my business all of a sudden,\u201d she explained.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Another reviewer named David Morenfeld called it a support loop. \u201c<\/span>The worst aspect of their service is that they run you in a support loop<\/span><\/a>, where different support staff always work to solve your problem,\u201d he said. \u201cBut since you are talking with so many support staff about the same thing it becomes a game of telephone, and the questions never get answered, and the problem never gets solved.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n One reviewer named Vivien Anstiss mentioned<\/span>\u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span>\u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span> that Glofox didn\u2019t offer support for her urgent class crediting issue. \u201c<\/span>I discovered a membership \u2018glitch\u2019<\/span><\/a>… where people were being double credited classes. It has now been over three weeks since I reported this issue and it’s happened again this month,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n According to this review from Vivien, <\/span>Glofox said it was an issue with her studio alone. \u201c<\/span>I was told that the issue was just with my studio<\/span><\/a>, the engineers haven’t looked at it yet, and they couldn’t give me any timeline,\u201d she explained. \u201cI’m really unimpressed with the level of response on this matter.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Lack of support costs customers time and money. Left to their own devices, customers <\/span>may be left wasting time doing manual work they feel the<\/span> software was meant to help with.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n If the software you choose isn\u2019t the right fit, you deserve a simple cancelation process. <\/span>According to some reviews,<\/span> the process was tedious and costly for some Glofox online clients.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span>Another former customer, David Morenfeld, said, <\/span>\u201c<\/span>after our migration they continued to bill us<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>when we asked for a refund, they said they would only refund half, and they still have not even done that.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Unable to find a satisfactory resolution, David also said their next step would be \u201c<\/span>to go to small claims and write to the Better Business Bureau<\/span><\/a>.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u200b<\/span><\/span>\u200b<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span>In some Reddit reviews,<\/span> Glofox online clients said their members also have user experience trouble with the app. It can be slow, send an annoying amount of notifications, and cause waitlist issues.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n One user named Conrads57 said Glofox has \u201c<\/span>so many notifications, pop ups, audio, and an email for every booking<\/span><\/a>.
