Despite serving customers globally, <\/span>one business owner, Maxine G., found Jackrabbit wasn’t quite ready for the UK market.<\/span><\/a> She pointed out a payment issue. The software showed prices in dollars instead of pounds, causing confusion for both her and her clients.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is not compatible with the UK way of working and not at all compatible with UK banking, leaving customers irate and upset,\u201d Maxine says. \u201cEverything was shown in dollars.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She also had issues with attendance tracking. \u201c<\/span>The date was the wrong way round for UK use<\/span><\/a>,\u201d she says. The month was shown before the date. For example, May 2 would be shown as 5\/2\/2024 instead of 2\/5\/2024. This resulted in students being incorrectly marked absent.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe registers worked in reverse (marking them as absent rather than as present),\u201d Maxine explains. Additionally, \u201cbilling was complicated.\u201d She understandably described Jackrabbit as, \u201cnot fit for use in the UK yet.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This wasn\u2019t the only area where the software reportedly created confusion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some Users Report that Jackrabbit Dance Software Has a Complicated User Interface<\/h2>\n

Jackrabbit dance software aims for user-friendliness, allowing instructors and business owners to focus on teaching rather than administrative tasks. However, many struggled with basic functions.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Another aspect of business management software that demands simplicity is any finance-related features. However, users found Jackrabbit\u2019s payroll system confusing.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One user named Danny M. found it difficult to work with the payroll system<\/span><\/a>. He wished the software simply calculated pay based on class duration to avoid the need for manual entry.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He also had trouble navigating student transactions and explained that refunds were especially tricky.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe payroll system is difficult,\u201d he says. \u201cIt would be easier if pay was calculated based on the class times to avoid entering times in. Additionally, there is no real setup for students to pay for drop-in classes. Lastly, the transaction area can be cumbersome especially when dealing with refunds.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
