Introduction: A Rising Movement, a Perfect Moment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 2015, American Ninja Warrior<\/em> exploded in popularity\u2014sparking a nationwide interest in obstacle course training. Kids, teens, and adults wanted to climb, swing, and vault like the athletes on TV. But there weren\u2019t many places to train.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s when Jake Marshman<\/strong>, a Minnesota entrepreneur with a background in indoor sports facilities, spotted the opportunity. \u201cI had a sand volleyball gym with some light ninja obstacles in the corner, just for fun,\u201d he recalls. What started as a side experiment soon captured his imagination. \u201cI loved it\u2014it was functional, fun, and not just for adults. It brought kids, families, everybody together.\u201d Eventually, Jake pivoted his business focus to obstacle-based training and the rest is history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was then that Conquer Ninja caught the attention of Dan Delano<\/a>, a competitive bowler-turned-ninja athlete who had competed on American Ninja Warrior<\/em> in 2015. Dan and his friends were looking for a place to train and Jake\u2019s gym became like a second home. Dan took a job managing the facility and decade later, he\u2019s the company\u2019s IT Director, helping run operations across a dozen locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBack then, it was just a few of us doing it for fun,\u201d Dan says. \u201cNow, it\u2019s grown into this whole community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
