1. Introducing Praying Hand Massage & Bodywork<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Patricia \u201cTrish\u201d Blakey is the owner of Praying Hands Massage & Bodywork<\/a><\/strong>, an appointment-based bodywork business that also supports clients through group offerings and trainings. Alongside massage services, Trish runs CPR classes and offers Reiki workshops as a Reiki master, with a vision for occasional recurring community events like a monthly Reiki share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a solo provider, Trish wears every hat in the business, and she is intentional about creating a professional, structured experience where clients book ahead. As she put it simply: \u201cAbsolutely no walk-ins ever.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Why They Chose WellnessLiving<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Trish is moving to WellnessLiving from MassageBook<\/a>, and the reason is clear: her previous system limited what she could offer and how smoothly clients could access it. \u201cI can\u2019t do any of that with MassageBook<\/strong>,\u201d she shared, describing how even a small CPR class meant she had to manually squeeze people into the schedule because they could not self-register. The result was a calendar that looked \u201cbooked,\u201d even when it was really a group class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During onboarding, Trish focused on getting the foundations right so clients can truly self-serve. Key priorities include migrating approximately 300 clients from MassageBook, including attendance history and upcoming visits, since she wants to \u201ckeep up with the lifetime of the client<\/a>,\u201d plus recurring bookings where applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
