Something didn\u2019t work and, bang, I\u2019ve lost my whole clientele and my place of business. I had to start again from scratch.\u201d Not one to take a backseat in life,<strong> Paul took matters into his own hands<\/strong> by starting his own business, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paulbrownboxfit.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Paul Brown Boxfit<\/a>. Now, he answers to himself.<\/p>\n<h2><span data-sheets-root=\"1\">Rising Costs and Rigid Software That Undermined the Business<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For a long time, Paul ran his business the way a lot of trainers do: using the <strong>industry giant, MindBody.<\/strong> \u201cIt\u2019s probably the biggest one out there right now, trading on the stock exchange, the whole nine yards.\u201d Such popularity is rarely obtained by something without any redeeming qualities, so MindBody managed to serve Paul\u2019s needs to a satisfactory degree for some time.<\/p>\n<p>But it didn\u2019t take long for third-party platforms and exorbitant costs to affect his bottom line. \u201cIf you wanted to get this feature, you had to pay a little bit extra.\u201d And all those little bits started to add up. That wasn\u2019t enough for MindBody. \u201dThey sent me out a notice that by the end of the next month, they were gonna <strong>raise our rates by 25% for no apparent reason<\/strong>. That was it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After that, Paul was ready to take his business elsewhere; somewhere closer to home that respected and valued him. \u201cI\u2019m not the type of person that likes to be dictated, and I like to know that you appreciate my business. <strong>I want to be a valued customer<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span data-sheets-root=\"1\">Finding a More Supportive Partner by Switching from Mindbody to WellnessLiving<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>After looking at his options and speaking to Sasha Davids, the COO of WellnessLiving, Paul found his decision a lot easier to make. \u201cI liked [Sasha\u2019s] personality, he seemed to get what I wanted to say.
