lisa and her team have created such a welcome, warm, and special place. i have never had a real membership (that’s not an intro deal) to a yoga studio before because a lot of them just gave me a weird feeling, but i instantly fell in love with The Aura House from the first time i stepped in. the teachers are amazing and there is such a wide variety of classes, at all different levels.
I started my yoga journey 2 and a half years ago when I was experiencing a low point in my mental health. The Aura House quickly became home for me and allowed me the space to feel safe and a part of a community. Fast forward 6 months later I felt like I was becoming stronger mentally, physically, and more at peace inside and out. Being faced with the pandemic shortly after, I thought it would be a good idea to complete my 200 HR yoga teacher training on the side just to learn more about Yoga. I've always been into movement whether it was working out, sports or dancing. I really had no intention of teaching yoga right away at first but then I noticed the interest of close friends and family members wanting to learn yoga too from me. It was not too long after I realized my passion for teaching. It's officially been a year now of teaching Yoga to my beginner community and I am truly grateful for this gift that I get to share with others, My intention is to help others experience the beautiful practice of yoga and to trust themselves in their growth along the way. I want others to feel safe in the space, a part of one community, and like they can really be inspired to create positive energy into their lives. Syncing breath, movement, and soul have been the most beautiful gift to my body and I want to help others feel it too. I look forward to connecting with each one of you and I am so grateful to share this space with you.
