Ayla was introduced to yoga while studying at Boston University. Years later her practice became more regular and more deeply rooted when she incorporated daily meditation as a way to center herself and be more present in her work. The focus on breath through yoga and meditation allowed her to create more space within herself before entering the workday.
Years of weekly yoga classes, a love of serving and developing inclusive communities, and a career change led her to yoga teacher training. Ayla completed her 200 hour RYT training in 2019 and her 300YT in 2021.
Ayla lives in Dorchester with her husband, dog and 2 cats. She loves reading, gardening, making art, Yoga, Crossfit and general creative or fitness activities.
