My therapist recommended the Mindful Maus course.  I’m on Week 5 and have enjoyed each class.  Each class challenges you in a different way, physically, emotionally, and intellectually.  Our group is small, comprised of individuals who have varying degrees of experience/knowledge around meditation and yoga.  Despite these differences, Julie, the facilitator, somehow makes the classes suitable for all of us.  She also remembers details about each participant, and is adept at interweaving our input into her lessons, thus personalizing them.  The classes integrate mindfulness practices, yoga, and, classroom-style discussion, and some academia.  Well worth the cost.

Brennan

Brennan Hussey, PT is a manually trained Physical Therapist who attended graduate school at the Mayo Clinic (1988). He focuses on treating the client for maximal function and utilizing the body’s natural tendency to attain its highest state of health.

Immediately following graduate school, Brennan began exploring manual therapy through courses at the Ursa Foundation (Edmonds, WA), and Kinections Educational Institute (Sacramento, CA) and continues to utilize a variety of manual techniques depending on his clients’ needs.

Brennan’s approach is an ideal compliment to the alternative therapies offered at Namaste Healing and Wellness. When not seeing patients, he spends time exploring the outdoors of Colorado with his wife, Ellen (Physical Therapist and tai chi / qigong Practitioner at Namaste).
