You might see Mika at Flow Motion teaching Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Pilates classes, or facilitating sound baths. Mika’s yoga journey and personal practice began around 2008. Passionate about holistic health, fitness, nutrition, natural healing methodologies and more, Mika's curiosity and love of learning has been fueled and influenced by the many experiences she has had traveling, living and working in a variety of places around the world, including Japan and China.An avid practitioner of a wide variety of yoga styles, Mika teaches Vinyasa, Hatha, Vin/Yin, and Aerial Yoga, as well as mat Pilates. In addition to her RYT-200 training and Aerial Yoga Play certification, she is also a certified Ayurveda Specialist through the Yoga & Ayurveda Center. Her classes are all about mindfully linking breath (pranayama) to movement, creative exploration, gratitude and creating a safe, healing space for students.In addition to yoga, Mika is also certified in Plant-Based Nutrition through Cornell University and graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a certified Health Coach. When she isn’t practicing yoga, working or learning something new, Mika enjoys spending time in nature, running, drinking tea, reading, pet-sitting, hanging out with loved ones, making vegan food, and learning new languages.
