Michelle’s yoga path began around 2008 when she stayed at a Yoga Ashram in New Zealand. She fell in love with the yogic lifestyle and the space to connect deeply with herself through the 8 Limbs of Yoga. She then studied at The Red Mountain Institute of Yoga Philosophy and Psychology earning her 200hr training. Michelle spent the next several years teaching children through Forest Preschool, Children’s Yoga, and as a Waldorf teacher. Seeking deeper Yogic community, Michelle stayed at Anuttara Ashram in B.C. Canada in 2019, where she later renewed her RYS 200 training in teaching Multi-Style Trauma-Sensitive Yoga and Meditation.Michelle's classes are rooted in honoring the Yogic Lineage through chanting, pranayama, asana, and meditation. She loves inviting others into a deeper loving relationship with their bodies and with themselves through radical acceptance and compassion.
