Awesome workshop today. What a gift to share the time and space with community.
The mystical side of and the philosophy behind Buddhism has fascinated Kinga since an early age and brought her to meditation and Yoga. Being very fortunate in having parents that opened the door to this world, Kinga started with a regular practice as a teenager and found her way to Ashtanga during her Master studies in sociology and philosophy, not knowing where her path would lead her. She moved in 2011 to South Africa and joined a teacher training under the supervision of Bruce Master in the Sivananda tradition. She has been trying to find a way to join the different styles since then. Kinga has been teaching in yoga studios since 2012, in addition to time spent teaching in the South African prison system. Since moving to the USA in 2016 she has continued to explore the path of Yoga, diving deeper into the practice of Ashtanga, Bhakti & Nidra Yoga. Kinga has a PhD in Social Psychology and has been studying Ayurveda since 2017. She enjoys combining ancient knowledge with modern research and is always on the lookout for links between the different theories. Her biggest joy is to learn and share her experience.
