I love Matt's Tai Chi Fundamentals class! He is an excellent teacher, and through his instruction, attention to detail and zen-like inner spirit, I am gaining a deeper understanding of my body and my relationship to it. My life has been greatly enhanced by the knowledge I am gaining, and Monday is now my favorite day of the week!
Matthew became a YogaSlackers teacher in 2015 and added conditioning, slacking and acro to his repertoire. Exploring human potential through reaching for extra sensory perception, unique balance, core connection, intuition training, trust games and nonverbal communication is possible through skillfully embodied movement. Whether you wish to simply have fun and explore new strength or wish to train to performance level, Matthew can help you safely and sensitively progress.
Matthew also collaborated clinically for several years with advanced registered nurse practitioners specializing in behavioral health and used structural yoga, breath, and bodywork interventions to address anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other emotional, behavioral and physical challenges. As an initiator of mind/body healing and personal transformation, he has assisted diverse people in finding greater quality of life.
From the therapeutic bodywork and structural yoga setting to slacklining and AcroYoga, he seeks to help others develop a deeper sense of self awareness, balance, faith, coordination, trust, attention and compassion. Like repeating the flex of a muscle, all grow when we practice skillfully and mindfully yoking psyche and soma. His vision is to share skills, collaborate and dialogue with those interested in exploring the concept of awakening through embodiment as a structured, meaningful and inspired daily inquiry.
