I have a thirty day pass for $30 and i have been trying out as many classes as I can. And I can’t say enough about how thrilled I am that i discovered Centered! All of Dindy’s classes I’ve tried ( beginner’s,  restorative, subtle power that she did for Matt-are wonderful as she is so kind and helps you relax immediately. Lauren’s kundalini class was difficult but I loved it. Something completely new for me. Chris’s Friday night moon yoga class was so healing and sweet, Her demeanor was pure kindness. And Matt’s subtle power yoga was hard but so instructive. I loved the way he corrected some of my positioning. He is definitely passionate about teaching. I look forward to more of the above and will definitely be becoming a member. I look forward to the dance class too.

And for a special treat, a friend and I had massages in the salt room! Highly recommend! Joshand Dylan were amazing and the experience of the salt room felt great and healing.

Matthew
Massage Therapist, Yoga Instructor

Matthew’s registered yoga school is called Subtle Power Yoga. He’s a licensed massage therapist and co-creator of Centered. With over 10 years of training and experiencing in diverse yoga lineages, functional movement, manual therapy, neuroscience and Eastern medicine, Matthew seeks to share an integrative approach to health and wisdom. Through the lenses of movement, clinical bodywork, and contemplative practices he has built trainings and community centered around awakening and embodiment.

Matthew became a YogaSlackers teacher in 2015 and added conditioning, slacking and acro to his repertoire. Exploring human potential through reaching for extra sensory perception, unique balance, core connection, intuition training, trust games and nonverbal communication is possible through skillfully embodied movement. Whether you wish to simply have fun and explore new strength or wish to train to performance level, Matthew can help you safely and sensitively progress.

Matthew also collaborated clinically for several years with advanced registered nurse practitioners specializing in behavioral health and used structural yoga, breath, and bodywork interventions to address anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other emotional, behavioral and physical challenges. As an initiator of mind/body healing and personal transformation, he has assisted diverse people in finding greater quality of life.

From the therapeutic bodywork and structural yoga setting to slacklining and AcroYoga, he seeks to help others develop a deeper sense of self awareness, balance, faith, coordination, trust, attention and compassion. Like repeating the flex of a muscle, all grow when we practice skillfully and mindfully yoking psyche and soma. His vision is to share skills, collaborate and dialogue with those interested in exploring the concept of awakening through embodiment as a structured, meaningful and inspired daily inquiry.
