I have fibromyalgia and restless leg syndrome and I am constantly stretching to try to relieve pain and restless legs. Today's yoga was very relaxing and helpful and I plan to continue with classes and practice some of the set at home. Thank you!

As a Yoga Therapist Katey recognizes that there are many paths to healing and the benefits of addressing all levels of the individual. During Yoga Therapy sessions Katey guides clients in observing not only the sensations of the physical body, but also the energy of the breath, and patterns of the thoughts and emotions that may be influencing the challenges that they may be presenting. Based on clients observations that unfold Katey offers Yogic techniques to promote balance, healing, and an increased sense of ease in mind, body, and spirit.
As a Yoga teacher Katey teaches a spectrum of Yoga classes from mindfulness, Yin, and therapeutic yoga to vigorous flow yoga. In every class, Katey strives to provide an environment where all students feel supported. Katey uses her in-depth knowledge of the physical body to observe student’s individual needs and keep them safe while finding a balance between offering instruction, and allowing students to feel and explore the postures on their own. As a result of this guidance and support, Katey’s intention is to enable students the opportunity to experience the many benefits of yoga at all levels of their being.
