My yoga/pilates studio was closed this weekend so I was looking for an alternative workout to start off the New Year. Zen and Pow had the perfect solution. I joined their LIVE-Stream New Years Workout on Friday, January 01, 2021 at 9:00AM with Stephanie. The 45 minute high energy class was just what I needed to jump start my motivation to working out in the New Year. Stephanie's passion is teaching and if you take a class from her that is obvious! Her enthusiasm, energy and positive feedback when you are working out is just what you need to keep going. Thanks Stephanie for offering a New Years Day workout. Your online class is set up well with good audio, visual of you teaching class and fun music in the background. You have nailed how to effectively offer on line classes! Great Job.
Group Fitness Trainer
Jill appreciates all types of fitness and movement modalities–especially group fitness! You’ll most likely see her enjoying a Barre, Balletone, PiYo, Circuit Saturday or Open Training session at the studio. Jill is currently a full time Speech-Language Pathologist at a local elementary school and supports students with various disabilities. She has seen first-hand the positive impact movement and mindfulness has on children and adults and is always excited to share this passion with all ages!
Jill’s movement and training background is in strength training and functional movement, as a result of participating in various sports, including gymnastics and softball. In fact, Jill and owner, Stephanie, have known each other since elementary school and became best friends on the softball field and in the weight room in middle school!
Jill’s main focus at Zen and Pow is through leading Open Training as well as other fitness classes in the Pow room. Additionally, she is slowly making her way into the Zen room via additional Yoga and Barre training, and more! Jill is passionate about providing an inclusive fitness experience for all individuals regardless of skill level, familiarity, and mobility.
