Cynthia's classes are great and she gives options to challenge yourself which I like. I highly recommend this studio.
I started my fitness journey at a young age as a way to stay fit for the sports that I played, and it has evolved over the years to a lifestyle that I love to share with others. The Wild Plum has become a second home for me; you've probably seen me working the front desk checking you in for classes, so now I am honored to be able to join you as your instructor!I graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in Athletic Training, an allied health profession that encompasses the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of emergent, acute and chronic injuries and medical conditions. As a certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), I wanted to further my knowledge of fitness and strength/conditioning to help the athletes I work with, as well as the general population. I am a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), certified personal trainer (CPT), certified group exercise instructor (CGXI), sports safety specialist, as well as certified in multiple formats including Spinning/indoor cycling, TRX, TRX for Yoga, Aqua Aerobics, and mat Pilates. I am currently pursuing my 200 hour yoga teacher training. When I am not teaching classes or working with clients, I love discovering new fitness formats and ways to cross train and move my body! I love going to heavy metal concerts, botanical gardens, getting tattooed, eating delicious food (I'm open to any and all restaurant recommendations!), and spending time with my husband and my senior dogs. I also am slightly obsessed with Star Wars...Can't wait to sweat with you in class!
