Great class this morning. Challenging but very rewarding. Felt 6 inches taller by the time I left! Definitely recommended!

Inspired by HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) and mindfulness, this fusion class will guide you through a variety of different dynamic yoga exercises alternated with periods of reflection and stillness in traditional yoga asanas. MIIT is a Shala-exclusive class which is perfect for those looking to engage with strengthening, toning and cardio-vascular movement with an element of mindfulness in order to prevent injury and work out safely. The MIIT class is perfect for those that may be looking to lose weight and improve overall fitness in conjunction with a healthy diet. MIIT is suitable for beginners, although we would encourage clients who have lived recently sedentary lives to engage with other classes at the Shala such as Strala Strong and Peace Pilates for a minimum of six weeks before attending a MIIT class. You will always be encouraged to listen to your own body, and remember you are your own best teacher in a MIIT class. 

Special instructions

Please bring your own yoga mat, a towel and a bottle of water along to class and wear a sports-bra if needed. This class is practiced barefoot so trainers are not necessary.
