My name is Heather, I graduated from Humber College as an early childhood educator and worked at that full time for two years while teaching yoga on the side. I now have a growing family and have taken my passion for yoga and made it a career.After being dragged to a yoga class by my Mom as a teenager I was hooked after I tried my first hot yoga class. I continued to practice on and off for years until I finally took the leap and became a certified yoga instructor. My 200 hour training in hot, Hatha, and Ashtanga was just the beginning and I continued training, becoming certified in yin, restorative, seniors, and children's yoga. I still continue to learn by travelling to different workshops, conferences, festivals across Canada, through my own practice and from my students in the studio.I like to create a safe and fun environment where students are challenged and encouraged to push themselves to try things that they may have never thought possible."
