YogaChiGungPilates is an integrated synthesis of Indian Yoga, Chinese Chi Gung, and Western Pilates. It aims to teach the ancient Eastern arts of Yoga and ChiGung and modern Western physiotherapy inspired Pilates in a way that is both safe and fun. It is based on a carefully considered understanding of body mechanics from a Western anatomical and physiological point of view, including an understanding of the effects of frequently repeated movements on joint and neural tissue. It aims to utilize safe movement patterns to foster sense of inner space, freedom from tension, and resilience in the face of life’s challenges.
