Steve Romey is a California State Certified Massage Therapist with a Bachelors Degree in Health Science and Health Education. Steve supports a proactive, holistic and educational approach to massage therapy and optimal wellness. His work provides a blend of soft tissue massage, acupressure, energetic and other therapies, which can enhance the quality and overall wellness of one’s life. With over 12 years of experience combined with therapeutic bodywork, nutrition, spiritual and personal growth courses, Steve’s work has evolved to be highly integrated and diverse. He partners with integrative and naturopathic medical doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, and many other specialists to ensure a clients needs are supported.Steve’s holistic approach is based in traditional Chinese medicine, and a deep understanding of the emotions that may contribute to healing opportunities. Utilizing the body’s meridians, and working directly with organ systems throughout the body he is able to support many health opportunities and symptoms including: digestive problems, upper respiratory concerns, muscle and joint pain, chronic pain, pain in the bones, spinal challenges, fibromyalgia, insomnia, depression/anxiety, headaches, eating and immune disorders, cancer, diabetes and more.He has completed well over 600 hours of massage training including over 200 hours specifically to support individuals on a Cancer-healing journey (and other healing opportunities.)Steve provides a great example for his clients in the healthy way he eats, his zest for exercise and adventure, and his commitment to overall wellness. Steve wakes up each day inspired, happy, and grateful with a passion for helping others move through health or physical challenges, and into their optimal health and happiness.
