I started practicing yin yoga/restorative yoga in my early 20s as a way to recover from running and being a bike messenger in brick town. As time went by it became a more regular practice. Eventually I realized I was coming straight home from work to my mat, even spending my weekends and time off catching up on everything I wanted to work on. Last year I decided to start taking the steps needed to make this my full time job. I completed my 330 hr certification thru OHYA in June 2021. Now I’m continuing my training as a practitioner and developing my abilities as a teacher. In my classes you can expect a consistent, encouraging, informative, and lighthearted practice. I’m currently working on my inversion postures and arm balances. I’m hoping to one day be able to do a seated handstand press.
