Cynthia is excited to join the pelvic health team at the WOMB as a movement (pilates/yoga) instructor. She has a special interest in pelvic health, as she is also a Midwife. She has been a full-time Registered Midwife since 2008, catching babies and supporting families in Vaughan and Toronto.
Cynthia is trained in Contemporary Mat Pilates, Reformer, Pilates Suspension Method, and Movement for Trauma. Her Yoga training includes Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Prenatal/Postnatal, and Budokon. In her classes, you can expect to move creatively, have fun and leave feeling good.
Cynthia finds joy, healing, self-expression and personal growth through exploring movement, and enjoys supporting others in discovering the same. As someone who works in healthcare, Cynthia views movement as another way to access understandings and interpretations of mind-body connection. In addition, she has also enjoyed training in Craniosacral Therapy.
