Nancy is so skilled at teaching all the yoga moves and has a very nice way about adjusting your poses when you are off a little. I am loving her class!!
Taraleigh’s teaching experience started over 30 years ago when she was asked to be a student teacher at her prestigious award winning dance studio. She went on to teach acrobatics and modern dance at the studio in high school and continued after her college years. While in college earning a BFA in Dance from Arizona State University, Taraleigh was a member of the Dance Arizona Repertory Theatre where she taught classes and choreographed work for inner city youth. After graduating Taraleigh took the dance world by storm by teaching at many studios, having her choreography featured at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC, tumbling for the NY Knicks and becoming captain for the NJ Nets cheerleading/dance team.
On a fateful day in 2005 Taraleigh tore her ACL on the NJ Nets basketball court in front of thousands of people. She believes that her injury was one of the biggest blessings of her life. Because of that injury she found the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where she received her health coach certification. Taraleigh has always been a live music fanatic so from that training she created a thriving brand called Rocking Life where she works with live music fans to bring that festival feeling they chase, off the concert field and into their daily lives. She’s hosted live music life retreats, owns a retreat center with her husband in Morristown called This Wonderful Place, has led hundreds through online coaching programs, organized live music yoga events in her hometown of Burlington, VT and beyond and conducted interviews with musicians for the Huffington Post, MindBodyGreen, Relix Magazine, Jambands.com and her own blog. Her book How to Rock Your Life: Maintain the Magic of Live Music in Your Everyday Experience is available on Amazon. The foreword was written by Allman Brothers Band and Dead & Company's bassist Oteil Burbridge.
