I tried Body Pump for the first time tonight with Angie. I love how energetic and encouraging she was! She gave a lot of great explanations and modifications. No shame if you can’t keep up or do something wrong. I’m used to going walking up to 7 miles at a brisk pace on a trail without stopping, but my legs felt the difference in this class!!! I definitely got a good workout in despite my shakey knees, wobbly legs and occasional lack of coordination, but I was also reassured that it’s normal for it to feel tough at first. I loved mixing it up!
In 2016 I developed a desire to learn more about the benefits of Yoga, which then led to a strong desire to want to share this information through teaching. I researched Yoga schools and found the perfect fit with a faith-based Yoga teacher Training – YogaFaith. In May, 2017, I graduated from YogaFaith with my 200 hour R-YFT Certificate and am a RYT®200 with the Yoga Alliance.
Lynn offered me the opportunity to take some of the Solver Sneaker Classes and I now teach some of those classes. The seniors inspire me! I am thankful to be a part of LJ’s Fitness team and work along side of the most amazing staff and members!
