First-time Crossfiter! The WellnessLiving website had the incorrect time for the class. When I showed up to Wildfire Crossfit for my 12-12:45pm appointment I made on WellnessLiving, there was a class ending. The owner came up to me and was so kind! She explained they had cancelled the 12pm class because of the Labor Day holiday, and had attempted to update the WellnessLiving website. Apparently, there was some miscommunication.
Luckily, the owner personally took me through a CrossFit workout. Basically, it was the baseline workout that CrossFitters do every month to measure their progress. It was rowing 500 meters, 40 squats, 30 sit-ups, 20 push-ups, and 10 pull-ups. Written out on the board, it all looked easy. But, when someone is timing you and you have to do these sequentially without break, it's TOUGH! Suffice to say I gave myself a really bad time for which I can only improve.
This gym gives a week free to anyone... so, I would have saved money not going through WellnessLiving, but at the same time, I wouldn't have found out about Wildfire Crossfit had it not been for the WellnessLiving Groupon.
I give this place 5 stars because it looks like a really good establishment, the owners are very kind, and the workout is LEGIT.
