I have been thinking about pole fitness for more than 10 years and i did one intro and it changed my life. Class was fun and my instructor was super kinda and encouraging. all they ladies in the class were super welcoming it just felt like i have been going to studio for year or I grew up with them or something like that. Shayvard took the time to learn my name and become my cheerleader in class. now i am home obsessed with poles lol. I I literally cant think about anything else i just wanna go back to class and be in that moment and i so excited for this journey .
Originally from the American Midwest, I am in Ottawa pursuing my PhD in paleontology. My introduction to aerials was through a mixed silks and hammock class at a pole studio in Iowa. I was immediately hooked, so when I moved to Virginia for my master’s degree, I began regular silks classes with a retired circus performer. Aerials have been an incredible source of confidence and strength for me and I can’t wait to share that with all of you.
A silks lover at my core, I love learning complicated wraps and belay entrances and I love to drop! I started to branch out into other apparatuses, learning hammock, lyra hoop and dancing trapeze. I have practiced yoga since I was 12 years old and started teaching fitness classes while I was working on my undergraduate degree. I started with teaching hatha yoga, but was quickly inspired to add acrobatic balances and expand to partner acro yoga.
I am extremely excited to bring my love for aerial arts to 3Sixty and establish a new aerial home in town. I look forward to teaching you to fly!
