I have been out of touch with classes for three months and just took Seanna's Contemporary fusion for the first time. she warned it might be hard, so i got scared but she took it slow and broke down the steps enough to pick up like i never missed a class! It was a great class!
Tia discovered her love for dancing at the age of 8 when her mom enrolled her in her first ballet class. Wanting to grow and learn more about different dance styles, she took ballroom, modern dance and contemporary dance as a teenager. She found her passion for Latin dance in 2006. She started to perform and travel with I free style dance company in 2008, performing at Canada Salsa Congress, United States and Bermuda. Tia joined the City Dance family in 2017 and performed with the Latin Dance team. She has completed her teacher training with CDC in 2020 but still takes different styles of dance to continue growing as a dancer. She believes that dancing is so much more than just grooving on the dance floor. In fact, you will be surprised about how many benefits are associated with dancing. Dancing is not only beneficial to your physical state but mental as well. Dancing improves your general well-being, boosts your self-esteem and improves your social skills. “Dancing is my happy place.”
