I have been out of touch with classes for three months and just took Seanna's Contemporary fusion for the first time. she warned it might be hard, so i got scared but she took it slow and broke down the steps enough to pick up like i never missed a class! It was a great class!
Ria is currently a part-time faculty member at Centennial College where she teaches an Indian dance course. She is also a Groove Edgeucator who facilitates community building sessions and professional development workshops in schools to help integrate dance and movement into classrooms. Ria is a dancer for Culture Shock Toronto, a non-profit Hip Hop organization, and the co-artistic director for Culture Shock Toronto's youth troupe, Future Shock Toronto. You can also catch Ria performing and teaching fusion pieces as one half of the quirky comedy-dance duo, Giggle Queens.
Her classes are accessible, high-energy and fuse elements of Bollywood, classical Indian dance, Bhangra, and urban dance.
