Meridian Yin Workshop Series
This Yin Yoga Series explores the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) through the lens of the meridian system. These elements are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Each session blends long-held Yin postures with somatic awareness, self-reflection, and elemental insight to support physical, emotional, and energetic balance.
These workshops are part educational, part embodied practice. You’ll learn the location and functions of the meridians for each element and use the tools of Yin Yoga, as well as gua sha scraping, to deepen your awareness and connection.

Individual Element/Workshop Descriptions:
September 27th: Autumn Meridian Yin: Metal Element Workshop
Description:
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the Metal element is associated with the season of Autumn, a time of release, refinement, and reflection. In this workshop, we’ll work with the Lung and Large Intestine meridian lines, which support the functions of breath, immunity, elimination, and healthy boundaries.
You’ll learn where these meridians are located and be guided through a grounding Yin Yoga sequence to help support the energetic flow of these channels. Yin involves long held postures to bring healthy stress to the deeper connective tissues of the body.
This workshop includes:
No experience is necessary. All props are provided. You’re welcome to bring a journal or your own cozy items for extra comfort.

December 20th: Winter Meridian Yin: Water Element Workshop
Description:
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the Water element corresponds to Winter, the most introspective and still of all the seasons. It governs the Kidney and Bladder meridians, which relate to our energy reserves, fear, wisdom, and our capacity to rest deeply and move with intention.
You’ll learn where these meridians are located and be guided through a grounding Yin Yoga sequence to help support the energetic flow of these channels. Yin involves long held postures to bring healthy stress to the deeper connective tissues of the body.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the Wood element is aligned with the season of Spring. It invites us to expand, grow, and move forward with clarity. It corresponds to the Liver and Gallbladder meridians, which support healthy planning, decision-making, and emotional flow.
You’ll learn where these meridians are located and be guided through a grounding Yin Yoga sequence to help support the energetic flow of these channels. Yin involves long held postures to bring healthy stress to the deeper connective tissues of the body.
