An evening of authentic expression, connection, and creativity for the sober and sober-curious community. In alignment with our Recovery Dharma Sangha, this gathering invites you to share your truth through music, poetry, spoken word, or story in a substance-free space of compassion and support.

Whether it’s your first time behind the mic or your hundredth, this is a night to be heard, seen, and celebrated. Bring your art, your instrument, your words, or simply your open heart to listen and hold space for others.

Kambo is a sacred and traditional Amazonian ritual involving the application of secretions from the skin of the Phyllomedusa bicolor, or the giant monkey tree frog. This ritual has been practiced by indigenous communities for cleansing and spiritual practices, and the testimony of participants are the incredible health benefits, mental clarity, and spiritual shifts.

Benefits and purposes of Kambo ceremonies include:

1. Purification: Kambo can help cleanse the body of toxins and impurities.

2. Physical Healing: Kambo has anti-inflammatory/analgesic properties and may be used for various physical ailments. Kambo has a concoction of beneficial neuro-peptides and bioactive peptides. You are fortifying your body with amino acids, the building block of protein. This is restorative and regenerative to the body.

3. Mental Clarity: Increased and enhanced mental focus, clarity, and increased energy levels after the ceremony. Kambo has neuropeptides that help increase learning abilities, decrease brain fog, depression/anxiety, ADHD, PTSD symptoms.

4. Emotional/Energetic Release: Kambo ceremonies may be associated with emotional and/or energetic catharsis, helping individuals release emotional and energetic blockages.

5. Spiritual Connection: Traditional uses often involve a spiritual context, aiming to connect individuals with the natural world and spiritual dimensions.

New Moon Nourish
An evening of sacred nourishment for body, mind, and soul.

The New Moon marks a time of stillness, receptivity, and planting seeds for what’s to come. In this space of new beginnings, we gather to nourish from within . . . through healing food, conscious presence, and the vibration of our shared voices.

We’ll begin with a grounded yin yoga flow. Next, a heartful plant-based soup, made with clean, organic ingredients and shared in community. Each guest will receive the recipe card to carry the ritual home, so you can alchemize nourishment in your own sacred space.

Then we journey into a Bhakti Yoga Meditation song circle, a devotional practice of call-and-response singing that opens the heart and uplifts the spirit. This is not performance, it’s participation. As we sing together, we activate the healing resonance of our voices, raising the vibration within us and throughout our collective field.

Throughout history, yoga, food, and song have been central to communal rituals, used to honor the sacred, celebrate life, and purify the spirit. In New Moon Nourish, we weave these ancient threads into a modern, intentional ceremony of presence, gratitude, and connection.
