A state of attentive relaxation in the mind can facilitate restoration and repair. The process is simple once we eliminate the stressors and distractions of our daily routine and find a quiet place to rest. We allow comfort to reach the body. We allow calm to enter the mind. In our Re-Soundingly Yin class, we use yin yoga, restorative postures and sound bathing to activate the 'rest and heal' mode of our nervous system called the Parasympathetic. This is how we experience an ultimate place of relaxation. Yin poses are long held deep stretches which acess the deep layers of muscle and fascia. Restorative poses help us to relax the body with supoorted of bolsters and blankets. Sound bathing instruments are used to align the frequencies of the energetic body. Please understand that we are a boutique style yoga studio with a great community feel. We don't have unlimited space, each spot for class goes to paying the teacher and all the expenses involved in bringing a beautiful relaxing space to our students. We encourage you to follow through with your commitment when you register for a class so that those wanting to attend have that ability. We understand things happen and that's why the software is set up to allow cancelation up to two hours before a class which allows another student on the waitinglist to take your place.
