I’ve been a GKS regular for years, as the teachers and classes are hands down the best in the region. I adore the traditional mat and vinyasa classes, and when I started incorporating Aerial yoga into my practice in 2015, it helped me bring my mat practice to another level! Jessica was the first to bring Aerial yoga into the Capital District, and if you haven’t taken one of her classes, you absolutely must!
Jessica really enjoys the collaboration of breath and body
movement to generate safe and fluid mobility and stillness within
the mind and body. Jessica has always had a strong interest in
understanding how the human body works, recently completing her
Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. She currently practices in
an outpatient orthopedic clinic, treating a wide variety of
musculoskeletal diagnosis ranging from more acute post-surgical
rehabilitation to chronic pain. Jessica feels strongly about
treating people as a whole person - that the physical, mental and
spiritual self are inseparable. With this said, Jessica decided to
expand her knowledge by completing her 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training
at Evolution Physical Therapy and Yoga in May of 2019. Jessica
brings her knowledge of the human body to the mat emphasizing safe
alignment, fluid transitions and linking movement with
breath.
