Jenn's Pilates class was recommended to me by my massage therapist, Julia Keller to help improve my core strength in order to ease back pain. I'll admit, it was a bit tough, but I haven't exercised in a while and Jenn said I did well (I was surprised!). I actually signed up for a private class with Jenn to really drill down on the areas I need improvement and to fine tune my posture and poses.
Joyell “Joy” regained her spark for fun fitness in her adult
life when she startedattending Zumba Fitness classes around 2009.
She decided that she wanted to become certified in 2011 and she has
been teaching since 2012. She also obtained her AFAA group fitness
certification shortly after. Since then she has developed an
interest in various cardio, strength, and some flexibility group
fitness formats. After having her two-little girls, Joy realized
that she wanted to broaden her fitness instructor horizons. In late
2018, she discovered Pound Fitness and decided that she could
surely envision herself teaching it. She became certified in March
2019. She is very eager to gather fitness rebels and bring a
‘badass’ rock-out workout to the area. She loves teaching this
format and can’t wait to have others join her ‘Pound Posse’. Joyell
is energetic, fun-loving, and she has a passion for helping other
of all fitness levels to have a positive release, develop bonds,
and enjoy themselves all while getting an effective and safe
work-out.
