I have been enjoying the classes at this studio for about three years.  Each class is a challenging and rewarding.  The instructors are very good at guiding students through the poses and suggesting appropriate modifications to ensure everyone gets what they need from the pose.  Even on the days when I do not have a high energy level, I always benefit from the practice, because I can take it as far as I can that day and walk out feeling recharged.

I have been going to this studio since they opened -- it is a great place! I've taken a variety of classes and all of them have been fun, challenging (some more challenging than others for my fitness level, but those always force me to set intentions and goals), and well-instructed! Everyone is so nice, the space is very clean, and it is the perfect place to come to try something new or to work on your mind-body-spirit intentions. Will keep coming here as long as I'm in the neighborhood for sure!

Coming to MYBO at the end of a work day allows me to dedicate time to myself to reflect and let go. Before coming to each class, I always think to myself that I'm here to understand the inner part of me that I still haven't explored, to become a better version of myself and eventually become a better person for the people I love, the community around me. Yoga has changed from being a physical practice to being a philosophical guidance and a mental anchor that keeps me grounded. No matter what changes, I have my practice, myself, to center me. I have tried almost all classes offered at the studio and while I often find myself going to the hot yoga classes (the schedule fits perfectly with my day job), I love that there's variety and options so that if one day I just want to try something new, challenge myself, or simply meet a new instructor, I can. For this particular class I took it with Soozie.  What I love about Soozie is that she shares with us her wisdom during practice. She breathes reflection and contemplation into the poses and I find it great because it helps me not only to focus on the physical asanas but also to look within and find a mental voice of me.  The instructor also gives a lot of options for each poses so that students of all levels can find themselves following the flow without trouble. For me the hardest part is to be able to both challenge myself every day yet still know where I can relax into the pose and find balance, which means some days I will go as far as I can but some days I will stay in the most simple version of the poses.

One thing I can't forget to mention is how the instructors incorporate essential oils into their teachings. I personally love essential oils and how they awake the body and the senses so I love every touch of the cold towel, the end-of-practice massage, and the menthol balm. It's all just external supports, but they make a world of difference.

I love everything about MYBO. I couldn't recommend the studio enough. Going here has been the best decision I've made to take care of myself - to love my imperfections and to be curious again.

I took the 7 pm class this Monday, taught by Amanda, and yoga in the evening usually tends to be the highlight of my day.  I like the manner in which Amanda and her team have combined the dissemination of yoga philosophy along with the teaching of poses, since yoga pertains to a lot more than just the poses.

It is useful to reflect and gradually act on spiritual philosophical advice, along with reaping the immediate benefits of yoga exercise. I also like Amanda's (and that of the other teachers') strategy of introducing different variations of the same pose, to enable students to understand their bodies better and not approach yoga in mechanical fashion.

The personal attention, aromatic oils, and the cold towels are the icing on the cake. :-)
