Staci is the BEST! I have never been stronger or more fit than I am now! She is great teacher and watches carefully to make sure your form is correct and makes adjustments as necessary. She pushes you to do your best and is always encouraging and celebrates your small achievements as well as the big ones!
In 1998, I obtained a Masters of Social Work degree from Boston University. My goal at the time was to improve the quality of life for all my clients. My passion was working/volunteering for children affected and infected by HIV/AIDS.
While struggling with weight throughout my life, I became interested in fitness and living a healthier lifestyle. I began focusing on eating healthy, hiking, taking fitness classes, and even hired a personal trainer. Seeing and feeling the results of a more active lifestyle, I developed a passion for fitness, and began teaching group fitness classes in 2005.
I enjoy continuing to change the lives of people every day. Being a personal trainer is more about re-training the mind than training the body. The body responds to fitness conditioning on a biological level; whereas the mind needs to learn to develop healthy habits that are easily sustainable throughout life. Fitness and health are the tools I use to re-train the mind and train the body.
I specialized in Weight loss/ management, functional training, senior fitness, pre/post-natal workouts, and women's health. Certifications include: Certifed Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, Warrior Rhythm, TRX, and Senior Fitness Specialist
