I lived in big city for the most part of my life as well as worked at a software engineering company which was fun. I also struggled with chronic back problems and pain since childhood which was of course not so fun. Shortly after I moved to Fargo in 2013 I decided to try STOTT Pilates and started practicing it (suddenly in the absence of commute my day had more hours in it 😊). It turned out to be the perfect balance of challenging myself where I could, as well as adaptable to be safe and gentle in the not-so-strong areas for me, so I got into it and didn’t want to stop since. Pilates helped me get confidence in my strength, muscle balance, and maintain correct posture. It became a core regimen for my physical well-being around which I was motivated to try running, or strength workouts to complement it. Continuing to practice it consistently and regularly keeps me pain-free to this day. I got my STOTT Pilates Level 1 certification and I am looking forward to sharing the benefits I experienced with you.
