I love this place! They are all about teaching you the right way to do it and the smaller environment makes it feel so welcoming ! It’s not loud with crazy lights! It’s a cool laid back place!
Karis was a successful competitive figure skater for nineteen years of her life. She was introduced to Pilates when she was twelve years old due to its emphasis on strengh, balance, coordination, and correct biomechanics. Participating in Pilates positvely influenced her skating as well as her overall functionality. Karis endured multiple injuries during her competitive career that kept her off the ice. In order to keep her mind and body strong during these times, she used Pilates as her main source of rehab and exercise. All of the joys and hardships of being a competitive athlete instilled a passion for understanding the function of the human body. This passion led her to hang up her skates and fully pursue a degree in Kinesiology with the long term endeavor of becoming a doctor of chiropractic. Karis realized her experience in Pilates aligned itself with her future career goals and thus decided to become a certified instructor. She now strives to apply her knowledge and experience of the human body to aid her clients in reaching their personal goals.
