Great class this morning with Erika. She stayed online with me after class to help me with some of the exercises and some additional stretches for folks like me who sit at their desks all day! Really appreciate the added care and guidance.
Ryan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well
as a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of
Sports Medicine and Level 1 Nutrition Professional through
Precision Nutrition. He is an adjunct professor at the George
Washington University, where he received his MS in Exercise
Science, and he earned his BA in Biochemistry from DePauw
University. Ryan became passionate about health and fitness while
pursuing his own journey to lose over 100 pounds over the course of
a decade. This journey included overcoming a chronic back injury by
focusing on stretching and strengthening the core muscles. After
working with Division I athletes with the Department of Strength
and Conditioning at GWU, he loves translating those exercises into
wellness programs for clients of all ages and abilities. The most
important thing we can do at any stage of life is use our muscles,
but make sure you’re using them correctly!
