I love a good challenge but also want everyone to feel comfortable – I will ensure a great class for all riders – regardless of their fitness level. You can expect fun, energy and positivity from my instruction! Every class will be a unique and fun ride – different from the class before. It will be a challenge, but keep in mind you are in the driver’s seat. My goal for everyone is to leave classes wanting more and looking forward to our next hour together.
My advice for your first time indoor cycling: JUST DO IT – the hardest part is getting through the front door! Keep at it – try at least 4 classes – your bum won’t hurt forever!
A little background about me: I have been an avid exerciser since I was 12 – my first spin class was right here in Haliburton when Andrea Whaling previously opened Haliburton Indoor Cycling. Fast forward to today and I am now a Schwinn Indoor Cycling Instructor! My other passions are running, my family, most importantly my husband Nick and three daughters (Mia Josie and Ella), being outdoors and enjoying life!
Before moving to Haliburton, I lived in Banff, Bracebridge, and West Hamilton. Haliburton is now where I call home and has been for the last 12 years. During the day you’ll find me at Patient News where I work as an Account Executive.
Outside of work and instructing, you’ll find me running, kickboxing, spending time with my family, kayaking, enjoying time with great friends, travelling … and I have two Weimaraners! Life is busy, but as Wayne Gretzky says, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”!
