I really adore every class I have been to and I am trying to get to every class Mystic Power Yoga offers. I have had an assortment of teachers and all of them have a different way of approaching each student and each class. Even though I have been an avid runner for more than 20 years I find myself smiling just as much during my yoga classes as I once did running.
Yoga has been a powerful and consistent part of my life since taking my first Ashtanga class in 2013. I had come to my mat seeking a distraction from the troubles I was facing but what I found was a practice that has remained with me ever since. Yoga taught me early on that I was capable of so much more than I thought was possible. I found myself with a readiness to rise to the challenge in the studio which I then began incorporating into my life off the mat. What most attracted me to Baptiste Yoga in particular was that from my from my first class at Mystic Power yoga I was encouraged to “be up to something bigger.” This idea was the driving force behind my taking the Mystic Power Yoga Teacher Training Program and is one that I intend to inspire in my students. We are all capable of so much more than we allow ourselves to think. The Mystic Power Yoga community, it’s teachers and methodology have all encouraged me to “see what’s possible” and it is my intention to empower others in this same way.
