My challenge in the past to consistently working out and staying healthy was boredom. Same workout, same routine. Not here. I haven't had the same routine twice in 4 months. Yay!. The variety of exercises, the trainers and the people in the group classes keep me looking forward to working out. I am definitely feeling and seeing results. I'm glad my friend referred me to this place!
I am so
happy to be part of the Chucktown Fitness family. I have been a
certified group fitness instructor since 2008. I love how great and
accomplished I feel after a good workout and I enjoy sharing that
with others. I strive to bring positivity, lots of energy, and fun
to my classes. Fitness for me is not just about getting in shape
and looking a certain way (although those are a great result
of working out consistently). It helps me with stress and anxiety
as well. “Exercise is a celebration of what your body can do, not a
punishment.” Every workout is a physical and mental gain...so let's
celebrate and get all the gains together!
Personal tidbit: I'm married and have 3 kids. I was a Spanish teacher for over 15 years. I'm also a big lover of the arts and danced most of my life (still do when I can). I have a theatre and Spanish degree from Rutgers University.
