A big shout out to Marybeth and her team for the amazing job they've done thought COVID-19. In the early days, they shifted quickly and smoothly to Zoom-based classes. They were creative with DIY props such as paper plates and washcloths to replicate in-studio exercises.  And they coordinated contact-free pick up of equipment and accessories for rent or purchase for people who wanted to have balls/bands/sticks at home to enhance their workouts. And when the studio could reopen, Marybeth did an excellent job ensuring everyone's safety and communicating the guidelines very clearly. And even though they're back open, they're continuing to offer Zoom classes for people like me who are not ready to take onsite classes yet. I am so appreciative of the opportunity to stretch, strengthen, breathe with intention, and move during these stressful times. I am typically on 4-5 Zoom calls a day, but my pilates sessions are my favorite ones!

Sue came to Marlborough Pilates to train as a Pilates teacher after taking an early retirement from corporate America. She has enjoyed every bit of the journey from teacher training student to fully certified Pilates Teacher. Sue has enjoyed taking on more group classes and private session clients here at Marlborough Pilates. Sue is especially skilled with new Pilates clients. She is very patient and takes the time to explain Pilates technique in detail so that each client gets the most benefit from each exercise and session. Our clients tell us how much they enjoy Sue's group classes and private sessions and how much they improve under her teaching. Sue is also an avid runner having completed quite a few marathons including the NYC marathon. Sue competed the Runity course trough Polestar Pilates that combines running with Pilates techniques. This gives Sue a great advantage in helping clients who also love to run. Sue has a huge heart and expresses it in many ways including numerous volunteer opportunities. Sue is always having fun and her infectious laugh will brighten your day and her desire to get to know you will put you at ease.
