Summary of various feedback:
1) When you visit the rink for the first time, VERBALLY ask someone about their skate school! I learned everything through my coach who's been working at that rink for a while. Without them, I would have known nothing or its existence!!!
2) In general, most of the ice skating classes in NYC are for children or they don't fit a working adult schedule. The adult classes at Wollman started at 8:00am, which was ok for those who worked nearby or could travel to work by 9am.
3) I did not find the information to sign up for the adult skating classes as it's on a completely different website. Instead of “wollmanrinknyc” site it was on “wellnessliving” site. Might be better if there was a hyperlink between the sites in the future.
4) The freestyle season pass was cost effective, IF you go to the sessions majority of the week on top of staying for more than an hour. It wasn't $30 per session with a season pass. Definitely, calculate how much you'll be spending per session (especially comparing to other rinks) vs a season pass both depending on how often you want to skate throughout the week.
