Hi, I am Mackenzie Buck, a lifelong resident of Quincy, Illinois. I am a graduate of Western Illinois University with a Business Management degree and currently working towards a Masters Certification in Personal Training. I expect to be specialized in Personal Training, Exercise Therapy, Group Fitness, Senior Fitness, Nutrition and as a Transformation Specialist (the science behind our actions).
It is my passion to help everyone live a life with confidence and to understand the value of a healthy lifestyle. Having started my journey 5 years ago, I have learned a lot about fitness and how it can be intimidating to some. Therefore, I have made it my mission to help NuFIT members and others that I meet to better understand their bodies and the amazing things that they can accomplish with a healthier lifestyle. I know better than most that hard work pays off, and in order to make it to the finish line, you must enjoy the journey.
At NuFIT I teach a class called Quads and Glutes that will help strengthen and tone the legs and assist in growing those glutes! Everyone is welcome to this class, and you control the level of intensity.
I look forward to meeting our members and cannot wait to be a part of your fitness journey! If you would like to know more about me, have any questions regarding fitness or the class I teach, please contact me through via email.
My name is Miranda Haerr. I am a Radiologic Technologist at Blessing Hospital and a wife to a farmer/cattleman. I am so thankful for my God, my husband, my job, my family and this opportunity to help push others to reach their goals.
My fitness journey began in high school when I took a weight training class and struggled to find exercises/workouts to do, trying to somehow lose weight/tone up. I struggled again in college; I just tried to make it to the gym and do “something,” workout at home, or at least run. When I moved to Quincy for X-Ray school, working out was my way to de-stress.
The biggest impact was when I moved back home to central IL where I was introduced to a gym that I fell in love with offering 35-minute classes of HIIT workouts. People were nice, coaches pushed me, and I/my body changed. I began seeing definition in my arms and shoulders, doing more than five pushups on my toes, etc. Fitness was still a way to manage stress, so I went almost every day. I notice a difference in how I feel when I don’t work out and how much energy I have when I do.
After getting engaged to a great guy from Taylor, MO I realized I would have to find a new gym in the Quincy area. I came across NuFIT, and I randomly popped in for a class or two, and my journey at NuFIT began. I fell in love with the class diversity and sizes, the coaches, the positive feedback and the gym community. Jenna Hull helped me fulfill my dream of becoming a coach (with the goal to become a Personal Trainer) in Spring of 2019.
I enjoy encouraging those in my classes to do their best. Change doesn’t happen by staying comfortable. If an exercise is too easy with the lighter weight, pick up a heavier one…PUSH YOURSELF! I look forward to seeing you in my classes!

I began my fitness journey in 1998. I started running and solely did that for years. I had an injury about 7 years ago and realized I needed to diversify. That’s when I started going to NuFIT. It gave me the diversification I needed to become stronger overall.
Being strong motivates me so I am able to do the things I want to do in life. When I’m not working out at NuFIT, I love to explore new destinations on foot and see the World.
My husband, son, and I live in Quincy, and our daughter is a teacher in Malaysia.
I would love to help you on your journey to a stronger you!

My name is Pilar Yates Brumbaugh, and I focus on teaching balance and stretching, two important things that help us with many of our daily activities and workouts!
Over the past few years I have had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of the NuFIT family, initially as a client and then as an instructor. When I first came to NuFIT I was unsure of how I would do in a group class atmosphere. After my first class there was a new spark, a spark that I needed to get me going and that started my journey to a healthier ME! I learned from our instructors that in order to reach my goals, it takes hard work, dedication, and a support system to lean on, learn from and be inspired by.
NuFIT isn’t just a place, it’s a lifestyle! It’s a happy place, but most importantly, it’s a family! The workouts, the atmosphere, the class sizes, the people – NuFIT was the perfect fit for me, and I hope you find that it’s the perfect fitness home for YOU!
I am beyond excited to be a NuFIT instructor and part of a team of friends, inspirers, and motivators! I look forward to seeing you in class!

My name is Jenna Hull, and I have been a trainer at NuFIT since 2012. When I first attended class, I had not worked out since high school. My name is Casie. I started my fitness journey in 2008, and exercise has been a big part of my life ever since. For me it is not just about looking good (that’s a bonus), but it’s about feeling good. When you take time to focus on yourself it transcends into the rest of your life. My life is crazy, and exercise is what keeps me sane. I am so excited to start this new journey with you.
I work full time as a Financial Analyst, and I obtained my Masters in Business Management from Culver-Stockton College. If I am not working or working out, I am with my family. I was lucky enough to have married my best friend in 2004, and we have three amazing kids - Katelyn, Vivian and Thomas. We love spending our time in the backyard or at the pool. I am also a DIY enthusiast and enjoy crafting and photography.

My name is Ashley Huber. I am a full-time Registered Nurse on Blessed Beginnings at Blessing Hospital, where I have the privilege of taking care of families during one of the most precious moments in their lives. I love my profession, my family, and God.
I came to NuFIT in 2015 with low self esteem and a negative body image. I was welcomed with open arms, surrounded by others who accepted me just as I was and who were willing to help me with my fitness goals. In my two years as a member, I have achieved that and much more. NuFIT is a place I can go when I feel good or bad, as the instructors and clients understand my needs, and I leave the facility feeling better about myself physically and emotionally. I am excited to be an instructor and hope to empower others to embrace who they are and spend time performing self-care that will benefit their physical, mental and social health.
