Emma Benko is a second-year student at the University of Regina. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and majoring in Human Kinetics. Emma has always been active and has grown up involved in many sports. Throughout high school she played many sports such as basketball, flag football and handball. Though, her favourite sport is ringette, which she has played competitively for 12 years. In 2018, she had the opportunity to travel overseas to Finland and Sweden to compete. She has also instructed at multiple national ringette camps for young girls. She hopes to use her passion for sports and rehabilitation to pursue a career in Physiotherapy.
