I've recently started going to MORFIT downtown as it is located where I work! I find the location very convenient as not overly busy when I go. The gym is on the smaller size but that doesn't isn't a huge issue as I've never had a problem with it being too busy. The staff seems nice and attentive. I have attended on a Free mth membership and suspect I will continue with a regular membership as I enjoy getting a quick workout during my lunch hr and making the most of my day!
From Track and Field and Parkour, to serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, to now competing in Kickboxing and Muay Thai, Deval’s maintained a fairly active life. He became certified as a Personal trainer through the Manitoba Fitness Council in 2016, and earned his Fitness Kickboxing certification in 2017.
Here at Morfit, Deval has been teaching the Noon Hour Strength classes at our Tache Location, and he also leads classes for the Competitive Team at Kwest Muay Thai & Kickboxing in Osborne. As an instructor his number one priority has been to create a welcoming and safe environment for those attending his classes, while still maintaining effective workouts.
In his free time Deval is often playing board or video games with friends, or experimenting with new ways to push past his limits in the gym. He currently holds an Amateur fight record of 6 wins and 2 losses (with 3 TKO’s) and is hoping to get a few more fights under his belt in 2019.
