We have a new take on Gameday for the kids. It is called the Akros Games. We will focus on four different virtues, one a quarter. Unlike the sheets before, to qualify to come to the games, the child has to write down acts of the virtue we are covering that they did throughout the quarter. Each child will be required to write down one for every year they are old. So, a 5 yr old will write down five examples. The child will be required to complete this. This will make them more responsible and help them understand that getting to particpate in the Akros Games is a privilege that they have to earn. Each virtue has a color assigned to it. If they child completes the requirement, they will earn a patch that symbolizes their work to wear on their uniform.
The virtues will be talked about in the classes and the expectations as well.
Thanks,
Houston
