Description
The Siri Jyoti Puja is an ancient blessing ritual from India, which translates to “Wealth of Light.” This ceremony invites health, wealth, & abundance to our space and into our lives.
During this event, we come together as a community to create and adorn a large sand and flower mandala on the floor of the studio, offering a blessing to the space and ourselves. This mandala creation is in the form of a sacred geometric shape called the Sri Yantra. This yantra is a reflection of the divine energy of the cosmos, reminding us of the divine energy within ourselves. Once completed, a seated ceremony will be held around the yantra. Seating at the yantra will be limited; however, any standing room and the mezzanine will be open to everyone.
August 10th, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
Decorating festivities begin at 1 pm.
The sit-down ceremony begins at 4 pm.
All guests are encouraged to bring flowers as an offering to adorn the mandala.
(Small roses are best, and /or flowers with lots of petals)
Fruit, water, and tea will be available.
You are welcome for the entire ritual, you are welcome to come just for the ceremony, you are welcome to come and go, you are welcome. Bring flowers.
Suggested donations are a sliding scale $25-$50
When considering your donation, let it reflect how you’d like to show up in this space. Are you stopping by to offer flowers and blessings, or are you feeling called to sit at the yantra and stay deep in the current? Whether you're with us for an hour or the entire five, you're welcome. Seating at the yantra is limited and reservable on a first-come, first-served basis, not based on donation amount. No one will be turned away. This isn’t a ticket, it's a heartfelt contribution in support of the puja.
