With a five-year collegiate career spanning Richland College, Odessa College, and Lubbock Christian University, Nate Van Maanen brings high-level playing experience and a proven track record of offensive production. He concluded his college career with 39 home runs and 274 RBIs. In his first season at Lubbock Christian, he made an immediate impact—earning Lone Star Conference (LSC) Third Team All-Conference honors after hitting .366 with a .430 OBP, 74 RBIs, 15 doubles, 12 home runs, and 55 runs scored.
A three-time First Team All-District selection at Naaman Forest High School, Nate capped off his prep career by earning Offensive Player of the Year honors his senior year.
