CoMo Rocks has partnered with FACE of Boone County (Faceofboonecounty.org) to support their work improving access to high quality mental health services for all youth (0-19) & their families who live in Boone County.
Our goal is to raise $6,000 in day passes to fund an annual program at CoMo Rocks called Respite Climbing Care to support mothers who seek respite. Respite Climbing Care provides parents and other caregivers with short-term child care services that offer temporary relief, improve family stability, and reduce the risk of abuse or neglect.
While in the care of CoMo Rocks the program will aim to teach communication, respect, self-efficacy, teamwork and building confidence.
The program will be provided once a month and free of charge and will be offered for the entirety of the funds raised. CoMo Rocks will match what is raised.
$20 helps to cover the cost of one Day Pass for a child attending Respite Climbing Care.
